Candidate Plans a Rally for the Same Day as Forum that He Wasn’t Invited To
By C.M. Paulson CLOUT INDEX
Ron Paul will be in Iowa on June 30, just not at the forum held by Iowans for Tax Relief
According to the Ron Paul Website, Paul will be in Iowa on Saturday. Although Dr. Paul was not invited to (and will not attend) the Presidential Candidates Forum sponsored by the Iowans for Tax Relief and the Iowa Christian Alliance, Ron Paul will stage a rally in Des Moines, Iowa on the same day as the contentious forum.
The Ron Paul 2008 website states that “Ron Paul will celebrate life and liberty” at the rally, which ironically will be held in the same venue as the Presidential Candidates Forum. Dr. Paul’s rally is set to begin at 4:30pm, directly following the forum. Ron Paul’s website states that the rally is open to the public and “food and beverage will be provided to the first 500 people who arrive.”
The Des Moines Presidential Candidates Forum has become a sticking point for Ron Paul supporters and Iowans for Tax Relief representative Ed Failor (Iowa Forum Snubs Ron Paul). Mr. Failor said in a June 20 radio interview with Des Moines talk show host Jan Mickelson that Ron Paul was not a “credible” presidential candidate and, as such, Mr. Failor and his group did not plan to invite Dr. Paul to the Presidential Candidates Forum.
During the discussion, which Ron Paul campaign manager Kent Snyder was also part of, Mr. Failor accused Ron Paul supporters of attempting to hack into the Iowans for Tax Relief website. Mr. Failor stated that “a bunch of people from out-of-state are calling my home at all hours” to protest the decision to not include Ron Paul in the forum and that his group was justified in not including Ron Paul in the forum “if that’s the kind of people who support him.”
The internet has been stirring with Ron Paul campaign buzz (Ron Paul Gains Popularity on the Internet). In turn, Ron Paul’s popularity on the internet has increased the level of mainstream media coverage that the candidate has received in recent weeks (Ron Paul Makes Front Page News).
Many Ron Paul supporters were unhappy with the decision to exclude Dr. Paul from the forum, considering that most of the other presidential candidates were invited. Blogs and internet forums criticized the decision to keep Ron Paul from participating in the Des Moines Presidential Candidates Forum, with some pointing out Ed Failor’s position as a senior advisor to John McCain’s presidential campaign as a potential reason for Ron Paul not being invited to the forum (Link to McCain Iowa Committee Members).

I would like to make two predictions: #1. Ron Paul draws a larger crowd than Ed. And #2. Ed has so disgraced himself with his stupid, stubborn insistence on precluding Dr. Paul that he will start cutting his own hair, rather than endure the snickers down at the barber shop.

Isn’t the daily mail a Murdoch publication?
Shouldn’t you be supporting independent sites like raw story, rinf and information clearing house?
Whose side are you on?

It isn’t a matter of “support”. It is a matter of information. The Daily Mail just happens to publish a large number of stories that reveal (either intentionally or unintentionally) the New World Order agenda. I pick up a lot of important stories there, so I also urge others to check it out. I also recommend people check the newswires including AP, AFP, Reuters and UPI. That does not mean I support or applaud what they are doing, but it does mean they are sources of breaking news which we cannot afford to ignore.
Another thing is that articles posted to this blog do not necessarily represent my own views. Everything here is For Your Information (FYI) for you, the reader to think independently about and make your own mind up. You should read articles and books from the Right, the Left, the mainstream and the alternative. Then use your brain to seek out the real objective truth that is not slanted to the right or the left. Does any of this make sense to you? It should.
I hope that explains my position.

This whole situation is working out better then anyone could hope for. Ed Failure I am so pleased your such a knuckledragger. Everyone in the whole world can clearly see the worthless oxygen thief you are. If you weren’t Ron Paul wouldn’t be getting all this FREE publicity. Thank you very much and the joke is on you.
People are driving and flying in from all parts of the country to show the people of Iowa what a great candidate Ron Paul is. He stands for the constitution something that Mr. Failure like his brethren bush and DICK cheney think is a ***-damn piece of paper. Mr Failure it is your type that has put this country EXACTLY where it is today.
There is only one person who has the capability to correct these egregious acts that threaten to destroy not only this country but the experiment in freedom! That person is a MAN among men his name Ron Paul!
May GOD have mercy on your soul. I pray the almighty that he may grant you leniency on your day of reckoning!
