Remy the rat in a scene from the Disney hit film Ratatouille

Rats have never been so popular. Pet stores say they have been inundated with requests for the rodents after the success of the Disney film Ratatouille.
The animation, which features a loveable French rat with a passion for cooking, has turned the rat from a hated pest to the most popular pet of the year. Pets at Home said sales of rats in the half-term holiday soared by 50 per cent in its stores.
Other developments may do less for the animals’ public image, however. The British countryside has been hit by an “explosion” of rats after this summer’s flooding, with a series of mild winters helping extend their breeding cycle.
The Country Land and Business Association said this could have a devastating effect on farming and the countryside, because rats attacked food stores and the eggs of ground nesting birds.

Britain is known as a nation of animal (rat) lovers.
We have rats in our democratic sham known as Parliament gnawing away at civil liberties, the nuclear family, sovereignty, heterosexuality, religion, morality and marriage etc.
We also have rats in abundance in the City of London placing millions of people and families into permanent debt slavery to their financial masters.
No to mention the millions of ( unaware) humans scurrying to and from their social engineering factories each day.
All and all Rattus Norvegicus is doing quite well in the U.K.
