I have a aunt that lives in the area, though she is Christian through and through she still believes in such phenomena. Have yet to contact her and find if she's seen anything.

However--just to be contrary--I've written before about weird things I've seen in the regions of various bases--but--

Once in college I was doing research--scanning newspapers to see what was written in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand--to critique the coverage and see who may have reported it might lead to war--

The Macon Georgia DailyTelegraph (name ?) had articles in that period of farmers in rural South Georgia reporting strange, slow moving "meteors" that changed course, moved at different speeds and made loud humming sounds. This was over wide area for several days, sighted by many people across the countryside?

So.....hmmm?
