Medjugorje “work of the devil”: Ex Vatican exorcist

The UK Daily Mail reports that the Vatican has rejected claims made by the six Bosnian ’seers’ that they have seen the Virgin Mary more than 40,000 times over the past 27 years

Former Vatican exorcist Bishop Andrea Gemma has denounced alleged visions of Our Lady in the Bosnian town of Medjugorje as the “work of the devil” and a “diabolical deceit”.

Bishop Andrea Gemma, 77, once the Vatican’s top exorcist, told a magazine in Italy: “In Medjugorje everything happens in function of money: Pilgrimages, lodging houses, sale of trinkets.

“This whole sham is the work of the Devil. It is a scandal.”

He predicted that the Vatican would soon crack down on the group.

The Medjugorje phenomenon began on June 25, 1981, when six children told a priest they had seen the Virgin on a hillside near their town. Some of the children also claim to have received ten secrets from Our Lady.

A church investigation dismissed the vision, and the Vatican banned pilgrimages to the site in 1985. But many Catholics ignored the ban.

Today, the seers own smart houses with security gates and tennis courts and expensive cars. One is married to a former US beauty queen.

“Mary” used to appear to Nancy Fowler at Conyers, Georgia. Went to one of those–interesting to say the least.

Ive been to Medjugorje and the place is far from satan’s spawn. There is more Satanic influence on ten minutes of TV than what you find in Medjugorje’s trinket shops. Prayer, fasting, Conversion, Hope, Rosary, Confession — all messages that lead us back to her Son. Jesus sends His Mother to prepare our hearts for His return.

The Vatican has not stated that these apparitions are the work of the devil and has not banned pilgrimages. Newspapers don’t always state the truth! Also these people do not live in fancy homes and drive fancy cars! And what does it matter if one’s wife was a beauty queen? Don’t believe everything you read.

This is old news and an attempt to discredit what is occuring supernaturally.

It is over 10 years old, and that Bishop is in direct conflict with the Fransiscan Fathers who manage Medurgory.

The seers have been subjected to all sorts of tests. They are seeing something. I was there, I saw something. NOTE THE ABOVE PICTURE IS THAT OF A STATUE WHICH IS LITE AT NIGHT. IT WAS BUILT IN THE EARLY 1900′S AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE APPARTIONS OCCURING.

Personally I saw this apparition. It was a bright light, emerging from a White Wall, with just normal church lights turned on. It had substance, in that it was filled in…as a lighting expert in lasers, theater, and special effects…I can assure any reader, this was self illuminating!

Much like a ghost, it gave off its own light…brillant white light, millions of individual rays…coming out of a solid wall…about 3 feet from the wall, in mid air, 30 foot (10 meters tall) and in the shape of person with a veil on…kinda like a keyhole.

I could not see any detail features…because the minute I saw this I thought in my mind…this can’t be happening to me…and i could not see the apparition anymore.

Instead I felt these waves of unconditional love flowing right threw my body…i started crying. When coming back to the States, found out I was cured of my life long disease of epilepsy.

Thats a devil? Don’t think so!

Where do you get your information? The visionaries do NOT live in :smart houses with security gates and tennis courts and expensive cars”. They live in normal little neighborhoods in the village, in modest homes. No gates. No fancy cars. They do not get paid for their gifts given to them by Our Lady. I have been to Medjugorje and have seen for myself. It is a place of love and many graces. God is real – He is good. Live for Him.

    Laudetur Jesus Cristus!

I’m from Hungary and I was Medjugorje at the end of mai in the year of 2007. It was 3 days but just 1 day and 2 night in Medjugorje.

I just tell you: it’s true. I feel in my spirit the Heaven. The Heaven is so simple and not confused what the life on Earth.

Not with your mind. Just with your spirit in quiet.

    Peace for you.

    Mother of Earth”

there you are a woman of thy past!
    were as i have seen
a fearful lady with a message
she has spoken of thy most great thing’s
    of our future of life
    it has come to know
of such glory to all whom come
and see for it is new
    man with all grace
has a seat at thy place
of thy woman of thy future space…
    she has come to all
and to spare thy love of thy man
that has seated at her glance
return to thy mother of earth, as she has
returned to thy place of rest
call for her for she is
    here!

My name is Zorica, and the meaning of my name is “the break of dawn.” I was born in Croatia and came to Canada as a young child. I understand many tongues, and English is my second language. I am a Roman Catholic, and a believer in truth and all that is good. I read a poem when I was nine years old; that poem, I still love it, is called “Footprints.” When I was in grade seven, my teacher asked me to pick a book in the library, and I chose a book of poems. I read one poem and closed the book. I had a natural gift. I wrote a beautiful poem, and my drama teacher called me at the end of the class and said, “You, Zorica, should be published,” and I was happy because I always cared about others and shared with others my love, my happiness. I know that all believers would enjoy my book, Discover Me, and also, everyone who’s searching for peace and love and a miracle will find there is a place in all my poems, for hope is always there for everyone. I dedicate my all my poems to my father in heaven above—I LOVE YOU, FATHER—AMEN.
