I hope the young mother gets her child back. Police should not be using tasers children in my opinion unless the child attacks or has a weapon and threatening to cause harm to someone. Police out here have to take sensitivety training to legally deal with natives why shouldn't cops be trained to deal with kids or minors with negotiation. Crying mother , crying child , fear of losing her child so she holds on well this sounds like a normal woman protecting her child instinctively and that should be the police first thing to understand and negotiate. Are police cab drivers? Are they in that much of a hurry they need to put others lives in potential danger to make it "quick"? I would seriously like to see police take a few steps back and assess the situations from past mistakes. Have a good look at the situations and having a understanding and respect for their own power and how they use it and how it affects people they are dealing with. Or are police getting wimpy and everything and every situation is frightening them so bad it clouds judgement so they take the easy way and simply zap people who they think are misbehaving. Most people dont break the law and are in shock they are in confrontations with police , they might not understand what could happen or how heartless a police officer can be. Lets perhaps try to deal with these situations in a intelligent manner not like tyrants. You know eventually a cop is gonna taser someone unjustly and and eventually a cop is gonna get hurt or worse...The taser wont save them from the lynch mob around them....
