ORLANDO, FL — The man who found Caylee Anthony’s remains faced kidnapping charges in the 1990s. Roy Kronk says he did nothing wrong and was just helping an ex-girlfriend move out of her boyfriend’s house. A jury did not find probable cause to charge him, and his record has been expunged.

Roy Kronk was hired by Orange County Utilities on May 27th of 2008. According to the information he provided the county, he owned a bail bonds company and worked as a bounty hunter in Kingsport, Tennessee for almost 11 years, ending in 2004.

Kronk’s attorney David Evans says they will likely fly to New York City next week. Kronk will sit down on one of the network morning shows and -quote- “set the record straight.”

Kronk was assigned to work utilities in the neighborhood of Caylee Anthony’s home in August.

Caylee disappeared in June. Her mother, Casey Anthony, who faces a charge of first degree murder in her death, reported her missing one month later.
