DENVER, Colorado — As one storm moves out of the Rockies, another one is arriving in the Pacific Northwest.
The departing storm will continue to bring snow Thursday after already dumping more than three feet in some areas.
This is the regions biggest snowstorm in 12 years, and it has hundreds of people digging out. In Colorado’s eastern plains, strong winds and blowing snow caused near zero visibility.
Conditions at Denver International Airport are improving after several flight cancellations and long delays. On the highways, icy slick roads have caused dozens of accidents.
Many businesses and schools are closed because of the weather. For those who love the snow, things could not be better. The storm is expected to begin clearing out late Thursday or overnight.
Friday skies in Denver should be party sunny with temperatures this weekend in the 50’s.
