I don’t remember the exact details, but didn’t Bush Sr do interview around 95, and was asked had he done anything he regretted, and replied to the effect–if people knew the truth of things they’d done–blood would run in the streets?
He said that if the people knew what they had done, they would chase the Bush cabal down the street and lynch them.
And then they would probably have some fun with the bodies and parts after that. People can be very brutal when they have been betrayed.
Sounds imperious to me. The empire goes in one direction. I won’t be comfortable with him in office wither, but Clinton did say that we have given the Iraqis the gift of freedom and it’s up to them whether they accept the gift or not… They’re all bucking for Emperor.
They’re all bucking for Emperor, but I will bet you it is going to be the Clinton/Obama ticket that is selected and enthroned by the elite.
