The tip of the iceberg of Vatican wealth and opulence on display at St Peter’s Basilica
VATICAN CITY (Reuters) – Pope Benedict said on Monday that the global financial crisis showed that faith in God trumped a lifetime spent pursuing material wealth.
“We see it now in the collapse of the great banks that money disappears, it’s nothing,” the Pontiff said.
The global financial turmoil, the worst since the Great Depression, has wiped away hundreds of billions of euros (dollars) in shareholder wealth and felled banking institutions that just months ago seemed untouchable.

The pontiff, using a biblical metaphor, said people who ignored the word of God to pursue wealth had effectively built their homes on sand instead of on a solid foundation of faith.
It was a possible reference to the collapse of the U.S. housing market, which triggered the financial crisis.
“Whoever builds his life on this reality, on material things, on success … builds (his house) on sand. Only the word of God is the foundation of all reality,” he said.

The pope is the head of the new world order religion, so when there is no business left to distract yourself with and death seems a day away, all will seek his shelter. Except for those who realise where this is headed.

Actually the Pope is an illusion.
It all has to come to pass in order for us to lose the fear to go into the “Unknown”. The Bible calls it the “Rapture”. We will see that it comes to pass. It is predestined and the rest of the world will do a lot of crying but to no avail. They will feel what it is like to be without us. Hell on Earth is coming for those who refuse to wake up..
Religion is there to control people through fear. That is its only purpose. We are supposed to believe all this New World Order nightmare is inevitable and predestined so that in fact we will welcome it as “a sign of His coming” etc and not resist it. It’s the greatest con-game in the world and it works well on weak-minded people who are unable to think for themselves.
the rapture has already happened lots of times. This time, its for real though…my priest guaranteed me…although i think he guaranteed me the other times too. What has the vatican based its huge cash-flow on if its not the same cash we use that they expect from their sheeple every sunday? 10% right? Sounds like the vatican house is built on sand too, cause i have never been asked for 10% of my faith, they want CASH.
The banks, the government and, especially God, all want your money. That is, they want to plunder the fruit of your labor, the booty so to speak. The Knights Templar, Knights of Malta, the Freemasons, the royal families, the mafia families, all want that booty. By hook, by crook, by massive deception operations, by force if need be, they wage war on the unsuspecting sheep, first fleecing them, then herding them off to slaughter.
