More Americans are skeptical about the seriousness of global warming than ever before, according to a survey released this week by the Gallup organization.
A record 41 percent now say news coverage of global warming is exaggerated, while 57 percent say coverage is generally on the mark or underestimated. As recently as 2006, Gallup found that 30 percent viewed news coverage of global warming as exaggerated vs. 66 who did not.
Gallup conducted the survey in telephone interviews with 1,012 national adults March 5-8, 2009. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
The poll also found that Republicans are more doubtful about global warming than Democrats or Independents. By age, older respondents were more skeptical than younger people.
Gallup also found that those questioned were more concerned about several other environmental issues — polluted water, toxins in the soil, loss of the rain forests, etc. — than global warming.

global warming is a complete and utter hoax! if you bother to look at the REAL evidence it’s abundantly clear that temperatures are falling. we actually could be headed for an ice age as the planet is overdue for the onset of one.
There are over 300 articles posted here proving global warming is a hoax. Both sea ice and global temperatures are back to 1979 levels which was the tail-end of a cooling period that started in the 50s. We went through a warming period into the late 90s and now we are back into a cooling period. None of these fluctuations were caused by human activity. It is purely a geo-strategic psychological operation for the purpose of taxing the hell out of people, destroying the middle class, redistributing wealth (mostly toward the already ultra-rich), destroying industry. jobs and development, instituting eco-fascism through the “educational” indoctrination system such that children will turn their parents in for “eco-crimes” like putting the wrong item in the trash, moving people off the land into the compact “eco-cities” and forcing the world into global government. Those are just a few of the many agendas that this whole hoax is meant to bring about. It is absolutely evil, it is a dark apocalyptic religion, it is therefore anti-scientific and it goes without saying that all the fear-mongering around it is absolutely unnecessary. The real enemy then are the elites who are pushing this massive heavily funded program of totalitarian control.
