EU to be guided by committee of 12 “Wise Men”

A review of history reveals that tyranny comes under many guises, some apparently more or less brutal than others. If you are honest and unbiased, you can identify tyranny in Socialism, Communism, Corporatism, Synarchism, Fascism, Nazism, Zionism, Feudalism, Racism, Caste System, Military Junta, Organized Crime, Oligarchy, Plutocracy, Bureaucracy, Technocracy, Theocracy and even in Democracy where the majority rule over the minority even while an elite above it all rule both ends of the spectrum. Then there are many gradations and overlapping elements of these found in varying degrees in various societies.

These systems then represent the desire of some people to force other people to conform to their will, either directly by blatant coercion, or by stealth, secrecy and manipulation. Or in most cases both. The elements of covert manipulation, force or coercion being at the root of tyranny.

Having reviewed the systems involved in the building up of the European Union, I can only conclude that there are elements of all the above fermenting and coalescing into a monstrous hydra-headed form of tyranny never before witnessed in human history. Its instruments of neofeudal control-freakism affect everyone negatively across the political spectrum, on every level and in every sphere of human activity. The EU therefore serves nobody except those arrogant aristocrats who dreamed it up many decades ago in order to implement their New World Order plan.

A word to the wise: consider the parable of The Blind Men and the Elephant when viewing the EU and don’t get caught up in the Left/Right paradigm of Divide and Conquer. The bottom line is that this EU, along with the NAU, and other artificial amalgamations must be stopped and reversed as swiftly as possible with as little bloodshed as possible if humanity is to survive with any freedoms at all.

EU about to launch ‘wise men committee’ mandate

Turkish Daily News | Oct 19, 2007

by CANSU ÇAMLIBEL

The European Union is getting ready to resume work on establishing a Committee of Wise Men that will discuss the future frontiers of the 27-nation bloc —a proposal initially put forth by French President Nicolas Sarkozy targeting Turkey’s membership— as EU leaders are expected to reach an agreement on the main principles in Lisbon today, and to stamp the mandate of the Committee at a European Summit in December. Sarkozy succeeded in convincing the EU to form a Committee of Wise Men to discuss the future of Europe and although the proposal had initially sparked a reaction from the European Commission and some member states, German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s support led to a broader acceptance inside the 27-nation bloc.

Portugal, which holds 6-month rotating presidency of the EU, prepares to receive approval for the mandate of Wise Men during the European Council meeting to be held Dec. 13-14. EU leaders convened in Lisbon yesterday for a two-day informal summit to conclude talks on the Reform Treaty. EU diplomats said they may also reach an agreement for the Committee of Wise Men. If European leaders find time to agree on the principles, the approval of a mandate for the Wise Men is expected to be stamped in December

All depends on how mandate is penned

The European Union – the New Soviet?

The Wise Men Committee will be entitled to prepare a detailed report on the future frontiers of Europe until 2009. Whether the Committee will serve as a new institution to judge which countries could be EU members remains to be the controversial question. EU experts said the answer lies in how the mandate will be penned. The EU may use wording to avoid possible negative effects of the Wise Men report on Turkey’s negotiation process, said the Turkish side. Reference to previous EU commitments for already negotiating countries is considered a mid-way solution, is drawing distinction between future candidates.

The Committee of Wise men is expected to consist of 12 independent names with broadly respected reputation for their professions. State secretary for EU Affairs of France, Jean-Pierre Jouyet, was quoted saying that members of the Committee should be of different origin to reflect the sensitivities of all sides in Europe. EU officials said that since geographical representation is one of the considerations for election, one of the 12 wise men could possibly be Greek or Greek Cypriot. Portuguese officials in Brussels believe that paving the way for Wise Men would result in a silent blockage of France on current negotiations with Turkey. France has been negotiating to get approval for Wise Men in order to give it the green light for opening the chapters which are not among the five related to full membership.

Turkey awaits for the EU’s consent to open two chapters that are not among the French list, namely, consumer and health protection and trans-European Networks. Although there is no technical obstacle to open those chapters, the fate of the negotiations heavily depend on the decision of the Wise Men. EU sources said if there is no time left for agreement on establishment of the Committee in Lisbon today, Turkey may face the risk of waiting until the end of the December Summit before opening new chapters.

Traitorous UK ‘Common Purpose’ Shills For NWO

davidicke.com | Oct 20, 2007

By David Icke

Brian Gerrish discovered Common Purpose when he was involved with a group in Plymouth in the west of England helping people find jobs and one of their projects was repairing wooden boats. He said they had lots of public support and backing from the local authorities and everything was going fine. But then it suddenly changed and the council support was withdrawn. When they tried to continue alone, he said that within a short time key people were being threatened:

‘When we started to explore why we were being threatened we were absolutely staggered to find a very strange organisation called Common Purpose operating in the city. And we were absolutely amazed that there were so many people involved but they were not declaring themselves …

‘[Common Purpose] was operating throughout the structure of the city, in the city council, in the government offices, in the police, in the judiciary. Essentially we discovered what is effectively, at best, a quasi secret society which doesn’t declare itself to ordinary people.’

Further research has led Gerrish to establish that Common Purpose is recruiting and training leaders to be loyal to the objectives of the organisation and the European Union and preparing the governing structure for what it calls the ‘post-democratic society’ after nations are replaced by regions in the European Union. ‘They are learning to rule without regard to democracy, and will bring the EU police state home to every one of us’, Gerrish says. Common Purpose ‘graduates’ are increasingly everywhere, as you will see from the partial list at the end of this article.

Common Purpose Government Infiltrators

When the organisation was given an award in 2005 by one of it clients, Newcastle University in the North East of England, it was revealed that among its graduates in that area were: Michael Craik, Northumbria Police Chief Constable; Andrew Dixon, Executive Director of the Arts Council England, North East; Glyn Evans, City Centre Chaplain; Chris Francis, Centre Manager of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust; Anne Marshall, Chief Officer of Age Concern; Anthony Sargent, General Director of The Sage Gateshead; Miriam Harte, Director of Beamish Museum; and Sue Underwood, Chief Executive of NEMLAC (the North East Museums, Libraries and Archives Council). Brian Gerrish has found them to be throughout the government structure with more than £100 million of taxpayers money spent on Common Purpose courses for state employees. It has members in the National Health Service, BBC, police, legal profession, religion, local councils, the Civil Service, government ministries,! Parliament and Regional Development Agencies.

The official founder and Chief Executive of Common Purpose is Julia Middleton who in her profile at the Common Purpose UK Website (www.commonpurpose.org.uk) fails to mention a rather relevant fact: she is also Head of Personnel Selection in the office of John Prescott, the Deputy Prime Minister to Tony Blair. Prescott has been the man with responsibility for creating ‘regional assemblies’ around the United Kingdom which are part of the plan to abolish nations and bring their powerless ‘regions’ under the jackboot of the European Union. He has, of course, sought to sell this policy as ‘devolving power to the people’.

Prescott has common purpose with Common Purpose and Julia Middleton because they are all committed to the same end. The European superstate is designed to be centrally controlled and managed at lower levels by bland and brain dead ‘leaders’ who are all programmed to think the same. This is where Common Purpose comes in.

You can always tell an Illuminati front by its desire to centralise everything and that includes the centralisation of thought as diversity is scorned, ridiculed and dismissed in favour of a manufactured ‘consensus’; you will also see the Orwellian Newspeak technique in which the organisation claims to stand for what it is seeking to destroy – Common Purpose says its aim is to develop ‘diverse’ leaders; and Illuminati fronts always tend to use language that actually says nothing when describing what they do.

When you look at the propaganda for Common Purpose it is bland and without specifics, just as you would expect. So what does this organisation teach its ‘leaders’? You wouldn’t know by reading its blurb and with its courses costing thousands of pounds it would be expensive to find out. But for sure it will manufacture consensus among its ‘diverse’ clientele.

This is a key technique of the Illuminati throughout society – to manipulate agreement on a range of issues that then become the norm to be defended from all challenge and true diversity. It has been developed by organisations like the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations in London which was funded into existence in 1946 with a grant from the Rockfeller Foundation and is one of the Illuminati’s global centres for developing the ‘hive mind’ mentality or ‘group and organisational behaviour’. Tavistock works closely with ‘public sector’ (state-controlled) organisations including the UK government and the European Union and the Orwell-speak on its website could have come straight from the pages of Common Purpose. Or the other way round. Jargon is always the language of the junta:

‘Multi-organisational working, cross-boundary working and the global-national-local interface each raise their own set of organisational dynamics which must be surfaced and worked with if collaboration is to be effective. They also raise particular challenges for leadership (and followership). The Institute’s approaches to organisational consultancy and leadership development, based on organisational theory and systems psychodynamics are particularly appropriate for helping organisations to address these complex issues.’

Like working out what the hell all that is supposed to mean. What we can see is that Tavistock and Common Purpose share the same pod. Both want to develop ‘leaders’ and they do it in the same way by manufactured consensus that then stamps out all diversity by using those who have conceded their right to free thought to the group psyche. Mind manipulation techniques like Neuro-linguistic programming or NLP are also employed in the language employed to engineer consensus. NLP is a technique of using words to re-programme the body computer to accept another perception of reality – in this case the consensus agreed by the manipulators before their victims even register for the ‘course’. Apparently the CIA refers to these pre-agreed ‘opinions’ as ‘slides’. As one Internet writer said:

‘A “slide” is a prefabricated, “politically correct” blanket “pop” “opinion”, “view” or “take” upon a particular issue of general interest which is designed to preclude further consideration, analysis or investigation of the issue in question. In other words, it is a “collectivised” mental position which is never to be questioned. This is precisely the “product” of the Deputy Prime Minister’s insidious neurological linguistic control programme “Common Purpose”.’

Anyone who resists the programming is isolated and the group turned against them until they either conform or lose credibility to be a ‘leader’. Look at global society in any country and you will see this happening in the workplace, among friends down the bar and in television discussions. The consensus on global warming has been manipulated to be that carbon emissions are the cause and anyone who says otherwise is an uncaring, selfish, racist and quite happy to see the planet and humanity face catastrophe. The fact that carbon emissions are not the cause of global warming is irrelevant because the ‘truth’ is what the consensus has agreed it to be. In short, if you don’t agree with the extreme consensus you are an extremist.

It is the manipulation of consensus that has turned the three main political parties in Britain into one party with their leaders Tony Blair, David Cameron and ‘Ming’ Campbell all standing on the same ground. They might offer slightly different policies – and only slightly – but they are all agreed on the fundamentals and this makes elections irrelevant. The Conservative Party’s David Cameron, the likely winner of the next General Election, is Blair Mark II and this pair certainly have common purpose.

The Tavistock Institute has been working this flanker for decades and Common Purpose seems to me to have the Curriculum Vitae of a Tavistock front. One of the Tavistock founders, Dr. John Rawlings Rees, who also became co-founder of the World Federation for Mental Health, talked of infiltrating all professions and areas of society – ‘Public life, politics and industry should all … be within our sphere of influence … If we are to infiltrate the professional and social activities of other people I think we must imitate the Totalitarians and organize some kind of fifth column activity!’ He said that the ‘salesmen’ of their perception re-programming (mass mind-control) must lose their identity and operate secretly. He said:

‘We must aim to make it permeate every educational activity in our national life … We have made a useful attack upon a number of professions. The two easiest of them naturally are the teaching profession and the Church: the two most difficult are law and medicine.’

The common purpose of the Tavistock/Illuminati guerrilla war on the human psyche is to wipe clean any sense of the individual and unique because only that way can they impose the global dictatorship and have the masses accept it. Brock Chisholm, former Director of the UN World Health Organisation, was right when he said: ‘To achieve One-World Government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism’.

Enter Common Purpose and its training of ‘leaders’. If you can get the leaders to think the same it makes it much easier to transfer that to the general population. Julia Middleton’s organisation, and whoever and whatever else is really behind it, has been making dramatic inroads into British society while it has flown below the radar. It is time we gave it a much higher profile as it goes ever-more international.

Europe sets up paramilitary police force

UK Independence Party | Oct 18, 2007

While all eyes are watching the European Constitution summit in Lisbon, a very different treaty has quietly been signed in Holland, where a group of EU countries approved the creation of a European Gendarmerie Force.

“What we have here is a fully fledged paramilitary police force,” says Gerard Batten, UK Independence Party Euro MP and spokesman on Home Affairs.

The treaty describes the organisation as a “multinational police force with military status” and its use is for “both external and internal actions”.

What is more, this force will outrank local police forces when it goes about its duties, which include security and public order missions, public surveillance, traffic regulations, border policing and general intelligence work and “performing criminal investigation work, including detecting offences, tracing offenders and transferring them to the appropriate judicial authorities”.

The European Union – the New Soviet?

Mr. Batten said: “To add insult to injury, the organisation will be exempt from taxation, both direct and indirect. More worrying still, however, is the fact that the treaty makes plain that the European gendarmerie is a supra-national force, in the way that its communications and archives will be treated as secret, and it will operate with diplomatic status.

“Once an operation has started in a ‘host’ country, that country will have no jurisdiction over the activities of the force.”

Mr Batten concluded: “Although the UK did not sign up to this treaty today, the fact that Gordon Brown is talking about ‘opt-ins’ to EU justice and home affairs issues advises us to be very wary.

“Previous experience teaches us that we eventually get these things through the back door”

Sarkozy and Brown push Blair for President of European Superstate

“The Europe of Maastricht could only have been created in the absence of democracy”- Claud Cheysson, former French Foreign Minister and member of the European Commission

IHT | Oct 19, 2007

By Dan Bilefsky

LISBON: President Nicolas Sarkozy of France and Prime Minister Gordon Brown of Britain endorsed Tony Blair on Friday to be the European Union’s first permanent president, even as critics questioned how a leader from a nation deeply skeptical of the EU could take over the new high-profile post.

European leaders agreed early Friday to a new treaty for the 27-member bloc that creates the post of EU president to represent Europe internationally on issues such as climate change, bilateral relations and development. The post could finally make it clear whom Washington should call when it “wants to speak to Europe,” as Henry Kissinger once put it.

The European Union – the New Soviet?

As rumors swirled at the summit meeting over who should be the new president – with Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen of Denmark; Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker of Luxembourg; and a former Polish president, Aleksander Kwasniewski, also cited as possible candidates – Brown insisted that Britain’s charismatic former prime minister was singularly qualified.

The new EU president is to replace a cumbersome system by which EU leaders and nations rotate holding the presidency every six months. The new post would come into effect in January 2009.

“Tony Blair would be a great candidate for any significant international job,” Brown said. Referring to Blair’s current job as the EU’s Middle East envoy, he added: “As you know, the work that he is doing in the Middle East is something that is of huge international importance.”

Burma’s ‘new life’ camps evoke memories of Pol Pot

Independent | Oct 20, 2007

By Kim Sengupta

Burma is a “land of prisons” with thousands of human rights activists being sent off to brutal “new life” camps after being arrested during night raids and convicted in secret trials, a senior British diplomatic source has said.

Monks who led the pro-democracy campaign are among the disappeared. Some are believed to have been beaten close to death in custody, while the fate of many others remain unknown. Roads to the monasteries have been cut and very few monks are now seen in public.

The account of retribution which has followed last month’s violence came from the official who is closely acquainted with the unfolding situation in Burma. The “new life” camps, echoes of “re-education centres” set up by Pol Pot in Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge, are away from the capital, Rangoon, and surrounded by tales of savage punishment, he said.

Those considered by the regime to be leaders of the protest are believed to have received sentences of up to 20 years imprisonment.

And tales have begun to emerge of mistreatment in the jails and “new life” camps, with the monks in particular being targeted for severe abuse. They are being held in rooms where there are no toilets and where the walls are covered in excrement. They have been routinely beaten and soaked in ice cold water, with the interrogators often stripping robes from the clerics because this supposedly expiates them of any sins over what they had done.

The diplomat said yesterday that the regime is trying to portray a scene of normality, but “very serious abuses” are going on behind the scenes. “There are huge night-time sweeps. They have scooped up hundreds of people. There is heavy security in the parts of town where many of the dissidents come from. A hundred activists have been tried this week in closed courts in Mandalay, while another thousand have been brought before special courts in Rangoon.”

Figures released by the regime regarding the number of dead and incarcerated cannot be believed, the official said. According to official numbers, of the 3,000 people arrested during the protests only 500 remain in custody, but the real total of those in detention was likely to be up to 2,500. The official death toll is 10; the real figure, was “many, many multiples” of that, the diplomat added.

Living conditions for the population continue to be dire in a part of Asia which is going through an economic boom. Fifty per cent of children do not have access to primary school education, while 30 per cent live below the poverty line. Communication with the outside world has been curtailed by closing down of internet services and sheer practical difficulties in a country where a mobile phone costs $2,000 (£975).

While British officials do not believe there is any immediate prospect of a repeat of last month’s mass protests, the diplomat said signs of unrest have continued. There have been reports of rocks and bricks being thrown at police, while in Rangoon there has been booing at what was supposed to be a pro-government rally, even though the crowd had been surrounded by armed police.

There was deep outrage, said the diplomat, at the way the monks had been treated, which even extended to parts of the army and the government.

“The population is traumatised and for the moment, they are licking their wounds, but they are determined to carry on showing their resistance,” the official said.

War veteran ‘left lying on nursing home floor’

Leslie Vines suffered from Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s

Telegraph | Oct 20, 2007

By Nick Britten

A war veteran who died 10 days after moving into a nursing home was strapped to a bed, then left lying on the floor with people stepping over him, a court heard yesterday.

Hazel Bicknall said she was “shocked” by the treatment given to her father, Leslie Vines, and said she had witnessed “inappropriate” restraint of people in a bucket chair, poor treatment and administration of medicines and poor standards of food and drink.

When she visited the day after he died, she said her father was hunched up on the bed as if he had been “thrown” on to it. She added: “I remember a man suddenly coming to the door of the bedroom and saying ‘There goes another one’. This was the same person who I had seen pick up my father by the belt of his trousers a few days previously.”

During his short stay at the Maypole Nursing Home in Birmingham, her father, she said, had been denied tea, his favourite drink, had not been fed enough and became very lethargic, which she put down the drugs.

His death, she said, came out of blue and only a few hours after she had been to visit him.

She told the court that she believed being put in a bucket chair and having excessive medication led to his death by causing pneumonia.

Mrs Bicknell is appealing to the High Court for a judicial review following the decision by the Birmingham Coroner, Adien Cotter, not to hold an inquest into Mr Vines’s death. If she is successful, inquests into the deaths of up to 16 other residents at the private home may also take place.

The home, which cared for elderly and mentally infirm patients, closed in March 2003 after an unannounced inspection which prompted the then National Care Standards Commission to raise “serious concerns” about the care it offered.

In January last year, its owners, Dr Jamalapuram Hari Gopal and his wife Dr Pratury Samrajya Lakshmi, were found guilty of a catalogue of failings.

The cause of Mr Vines’s death was recorded as bronchial pneumonia and neither a post-mortem examination nor an inquest was held. His body was cremated.

Alison Macdonald, for Mrs Bicknell, told the court that none of the inquiries into the Maypole nursing home had revealed how and why Mr Vines had died, and an inquest was necessary.

Miss Macdonald said one expert witness, Dr Thomas Boyd, had made key findings that, four days before his death, Mr Vines appeared to have been given four times the dose of haleperidol given to him in hospital, and twice the dose the following day.

Dr Boyd stated in a report: “Leslie Vines received excessive sedation and appears to have received inappropriate nursing care in a ‘bucket chair’ which would have made him more susceptible to pneumonia.”

Mr Vines, from Solihull, West Midlands, was admitted to the home in August 2002 suffering from Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. His wife of 54 years, Josephine, could no longer look after him.

In a statement read to the court, Mrs Bicknell said on one occasion she found her father “lying in the corridor by the front door with people stepping over him” until a carer “picked him up by the back of his trousers and dragged him over to a chair in the sitting room.”

Alison Hewitt, for Mr Cotter, said he considered his decision not to hold an inquest to be correct. She said there was “not sufficient evidence of culpable human failure having caused the death” to warrant one.

Judgment was reserved.

Iraq whistleblower Dr Kelly WAS murdered to silence him, says MP

‘Murdered’: Weapons’ expert David Kelly

Daily Mail | Oct 20, 2007

By FIONA BARTON

Weapons expert Dr David Kelly was assassinated, an MP claims today.

Campaigning politician Norman Baker believes Dr Kelly, who exposed the Government’s “sexed-up” Iraq dossier, was killed to stop him making further revelations about the lies that took Britain to war.

He says the murderers may have been anti-Saddam Iraqis, and suggests the crime was covered up by elements within the British establishment to prevent a diplomatic crisis.

The LibDem MP, who gave up his front bench post to carry out his year-long investigation, makes his claims in a book serialised exclusively in the Daily Mail today and next week.

The official Hutton Inquiry into the death of Dr Kelly ruled in 2004 that he slashed one of his wrists with a garden knife and took an overdose after being “outed” as the mole who revealed the flawed argument for invading Iraq.

But Norman Baker is convinced the scientist was murdered.

He says he was told by a secret informant that British police knew about the plot but failed to act in time and that the death was later made to look like a suicide to prevent political and diplomatic turmoil.

The highly-respected MP’s personal quest to uncover the truth about Dr Kelly’s death was prompted by deep concerns over the circumstances surrounding the apparent suicide.

He – and a group of eminent doctors – were greatly troubled by the evidence presented to Lord Hutton.

They claimed medical evidence proved that the alleged method of suicide – the cutting of the ulnar artery in the wrist and an overdose of co-proxamol painkillers – could not have caused the scientist’s death.

Mr Baker said: “The more I examined [Lord Hutton’s verdict], the more it became clear to me that Hutton’s judgment was faulty and suspect in virtually all important respects.”

His findings are today revealed in the first extract from his book The Strange Death of David Kelly. In it, he claims:

• No fingerprints were found on the gardening knife allegedly used by the scientist to cut one of his wrists;

• Only one other person in the whole of the British Isles committed suicide in the same way as the scientist allegedly did in 2003;

• There was an astonishing lack of blood at the scene despite death being officially recorded as due to a severed artery;

• The level of painkillers found in Dr Kelly’s stomach was “less than a third” of a normal fatal overdose.

The Lewes MP also suggests that the knife and packs of painkillers found beside Dr Kelly’s body were taken from his home in Southmoor, Oxfordshire, during a police search after his death and later planted at the scene.

He tells in his book how he was contacted by “informants” during his “journey into the unknown”.

One is alleged to have told him Dr Kelly’s death had been “a wet operation, a wet disposal”.

Mr Baker explains: “Essentially, it seems to refer to an assassination, perhaps carried out in a hurry.”

Another secret contact told him that a group of UK-based Iraqis had “named people who claimed involvement in Dr Kelly’s death”.

The informant was later the victim of “an horrific attack by an unknown assailant”.

The MP, who has repeatedly called for the police to re-open the case, alleges that the scientist had “powerful enemies” because of his work on biological weapons. A colleague of Dr Kelly, Dick Spertzel, America’s most senior biological weapons inspector, confirmed to Mr Baker that the scientist was “on an Iraqi hit list”.

Mr Baker alleges that opponents of Saddam Hussein feared Dr Kelly would “discredit” them by revealing “misinformation” they had deliberately planted to bolster the case for Britain and America’s intervention in Iraq.

The MP claims Kelly’s integrity might have “signed his own death warrant”.

The book also alleges that British police “had got wind of a possible plan to assassinate Dr Kelly but were too late to prevent his murder taking place”.

The MP suggests that the police may have tried to make the killing appear to be a suicide “in the interests of Queen and country” and to prevent any destabilisation of the sensitive relationship between the Allies and Iraq.

Mr Baker adds: “It is all too easy to dismiss so-called conspiracy theories. But history shows us that conspiracies do happen – and that suicide can be staged to cover murderers’ tracks.

“All the evidence leads me to believe that this is what happened in the case of Dr Kelly.”
